You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone © 2016 Bill Scorzari
I'm sitting here alone, with one light on and it's just hanging in the darkness and stringing me along. But as it draws me deep into the night, I'm gettin’ closer to the dawn. So, if you're not gonna kiss me, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone. Because, waiting for the seasons, well, that takes too long. And, all the fall leaves have fallen down and I'm still hangin' on. And now, Darlin’, you're not talkin'. Are we still walkin' or should I crawl, or should I run? Well, if you're not gonna kiss me, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone. And I don't think I'll wear my coat today. I kind of like how now it's cold and that coat's so old, anyway. And I have felt the wind blow cold before today, and when my mind it races, I find quiet places until the wind just blows away. At first, it's calm. Then there’s the storm. But, then its calm again before too long. So, if you're not gonna kiss me, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone. Yeah, if you're not gonna kiss me, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone.
